Back to School - The Lunchbox|Bag Edit
Bitsy’s Lunch Box|Bag Edit
We’re back - this time sharing our favorite lunch box and lunch bag picks for back to school. Last week we shared with you our Backpack Edit. We hope you checked that piece off of your list. Now on to another checked box so you can enjoy the rest of your summer…
Lunch Boxes…
It is tough to find a good lunch box. They need to be (especially for elementary school) leak proof, easy to pack, fit enough food for a variety and easy to clean. Our jam for the past few years has been Yumbox. I have to say, we really do love them. I bought 2 for each of the girls so I always have one clean. I pop the dirty one on the top rack of our dishwasher and then there is a clean one for me to fill for the next day’s lunch. Yumbox has also added a ton new colors and patterns that will have your kiddos excited!
In our Bitsy travels, however, we have also come across some other appealing options…
We also found this great new brand. We’re obsessed because the lunch box itself has a handle, so really there is not a need to purchase a lunch bag as well. I’m loving these for Mike and I honestly!
Lunch Bags…
The lunch bag is key because your little one needs to carry their lunch to the cafeteria. Most bento box lunch boxes don’t have a handle, so the bags come in handy. Also, you can add an ice pack to the lunch bag (we buy these ice packs - they are flat, small, hold their freeze decently and are easy to wash|store).
Here are the lunch bags that caught our eye…
Next week we’re moving on to our favorite kicks, so keep it here…
