Paper Dolls
We’ve been holding on to these fabulous paper dolls we bought the girls a while ago waiting for them to be old enough to cut them out and play with them. We finally gave them each a set for Valentine’s Day and have had so much fun playing with them since! We are home on vacation this week, so they have been such a great stay-cation and/or snow day activity! They are easy to store and the girls can pull them out whenever they wish and have fun with them all over again!
We don’t want to forget to mention how beautiful these dolls and their clothing/accessories are. They are created by Brittani Rose, a self-taught paper artist. Brittani’s pieces are stunning paper art creations that capture everyday life. Do yourself a favor and take a look through her custom commissioned art work here. Personally, we are saving up to have Brittani create a family portrait for us someday but in the meantime we had to get our hands on some of her art and these paper dolls are just perfect!
These beauties live in our Gift Guide in the Ages 6-7 and Ages 8-9 categories. Greer is 4 1/2 and even though she is getting great at her cutting skills, I did need to help her get her doll and accessories cut out. Since I’ve cut them out for her, however, she’s had so much fun playing pretend with her ballerina doll and her clothing/accessories. These make a great gift topper, stocking stuffer or Easter basket gift! They are also perfect for a big sister gift. At $18 a pop, you cant go wrong with this classic-meets-modern art activity and keepsake!
