What We Love Fridays...Nailmatic + A Giveaway!
At the Bitsy Style Pop Up Shop back in March we had lots of fun gems for people to shop - lots of brands our customers had never heard of. One of our favorites (and best-selling) was the Nailmatic collection. So naturally we’ve teamed up with the Nailmatic team to bring you a fun giveaway and share why we adore their brand oh-so-much! Let us introduce you…
Nailmatic is a brand we came across at a children’s market show and loved their pitch. We just loved what their company was all about and decided it had to be a part of the Bitsy Pop Up collection. Basically, for those of you that are not familiar with Nailmatic, they are beauty company founded by a beauty industry guru and a graphic designer with a communications background. Their nail polishes contain no toxic substances and their products favor organically-sourced ingredients (as much as possible). Their children’s polishes are water based, making it more of an art project than a nail polish. Currently there is no such thing as fully organic nail polish, but there is research developing in this area in order to create the most natural formulations - hopefully soon! Nailmatic is a company that is passionate about what we put on and in our bodies and is on the forefront of this organic/all-natural formulation discovery. Their vegan nail polish speaks to this for sure.
When Bitsy met this brand, we knew it would fit in well with not only our aesthetic, but our mission to find awesome products for you and your kiddos. Nailmatic lives in our Gift Guide because we feel it is a great product to share with special little ones in your life. We’ve tested their children’s products - from their (water-based) nail polishes to their roulettes (brings me back to growing up!) to their bath bombs (which sold like hot-cakes at the shop!) - and stand behind them all.
What we love most about their nail polishes is not only that they are totally safe and fun, but since they are water-based they are 100% wipeable and clean! Most days at the shop Lucy and Greer would sit in the back room and paint each other’s nails. On one of my nice chairs. With no cloth down! True story. Every time I would run a wet paper towel along where they had made a mess it came clean. We love our art mat that we shared with you in our “Art Cart Organization” post, but it is totally unnecessary with the Nailmatic products! We marketed their nail polishes as more of an “art project”. They are a way to give in to your child’s strong desire to “do it myself” without sacrificing everything else you stand by!
