Back to School - The Label Edit
Bitsy’s Label Edit
Stocking up on new labels for your children’s clothing, lunch boxes, bags, water bottles, extra set of clothing, sports and activity gear (and the list goes on and on…) is necessary this time of year. Once you’re in the thick of things in September you will be happy you have them ready-to-go. Here’s Bitsy’s edit - the brands we like for what and why…
For shoe labels we love:
Sticker Kid shoe label. The design is brilliant they have cute personalization options!
For item labels (water bottles, lunch boxes, back packs, lunch boxes, etc) we love:
Sticker Kid medium labels b/c you can personalize them with name and a phone number. The labels are a decent size to fit many different shaped and sized items. Also, you can add a design so your kiddos will love them and can recognize their stuff better. And they are waterproof!
For clothing labels (different sizing, add a design and non iron-on!) we love:
Label Daddy has really fun and up-to-date personalization options and they are even organized by age and interest (like tween, basic, emoji) - super fun! Their prices are great (you can get 75 x-small clothing labels for $20!). And bonus - Label Daddy is offering 20% off of school labels right now!
For general label use we love:
We used Kid-e-Cals in the past and like them. We even Bitsy-ed about them! Check out our post from the past here! For the most part, they stay on clothing after a year or two of washes. They were best on items like the girls ballet bags, ballet shoes, rain coats. The labels I stuck on sweatshirts and sweaters came off faster, but after about a dozen or so washes. I love them b/c they are not iron-on. I frequently stuck one on their chosen sweatshirt|sweater when they were rushing out the door in the AMs to get to school on time!
We’ve also tried the Mine Textile Stamper. To be honest, it is not our favorite, but we keep it so when we are out of stick-on labels or in a pinch, we break it out. The letters are super small making it tedious to switch them out. We keep ours with our last name and my phone number so its easy and general.
You can also go super simple and hit up Amazon. They offer personalization as well!…
