Lucy (+ Greer hee, hee) love to play “retail shop”. So, for Christmas we thought it only fitting to make them their very own Bitsy brick + mortar. A place to sell a flavor of what they wish to their itsy bitsy customers. Oh what fun! We had a TON of fun creating it and want to share it with you! One of our Grammies made the beautiful curtain above the shop “window”. It is a vintage fabric that was used in her baby’s bedrooms years ago. Adding just the right amount of special-ness!
Please excuse the organic feel of our “shoot”. It was an icky day outside, so we decided to throw up a sheet and let the girls have some playtime! We hope the cuteness of L + G in their shop steal your attention.
As you can see, the shop has been quite busy recently! It is “closed” today for a much needed holiday…
Tuchinda. A New York based kidswear brand that launched in 2012. Tuchinda uses European + Japanese fabrics along with sophisticated sewing techniques to create decadent, soft collections. This is clothing your children’s children will wear – elegant, inspirational, timeless. In the words of Tina Tuchinda…wearable art. Tina’s spring + summer 2015 line is going to knock your socks off (ours are already off).
Inspired by Tina’s travels to Europe – specifically her favorite place, the famous pastry chef Pierre Hermé in Paris – each item is very special in its own way just like Pierre’s delicious pastries (especially his unusual macaron flavor combinations). “The soft pastel palette and material choice of cotton gauze and light poplins in the collection mimics the light and airy feel of these special pastries.” You will adore seeing this collection on your little one.
We find it so fitting that the name Tuchinda translates to “a closet of precious stones” in Thai. There is a sweet + precious taste to this brand, specifically this collection. Tina’s beautiful sense of style transcends through each and every individual piece. Bitsy is honored and excited to share a sample. All pieces are now available for purchase on Tuchinda’s website, so please head over to TUCHINDA and see more for yourself.
Liberty of London has made quite a splash in both the adult + children’s markets over the past several years. Bitsy is always keeping an eye on their prints. Lately that hasn’t been hard to do…it is everywhere! We love these fabrics, especially on our little ones. Take a look at what we love…
